Slow Moving Clouds 2 (2022) Original Oil Painting by Howard Sills

I love the way clouds build and develop on still, windless summer days, hanging unmoving in the sky. In this relatively abstracted piece, greyish clouds drift across a salmon pink evening sky. The painting is inspired by the works of the late Fred Cuming RA who was able to imbue his works with a wonderful luminosity.

The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness on fine grain canvas panel measuring 40 cm by 30 cm on a one inch wooden stretcher.

The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
