Original artwork description
Further study of the dynamic patterns of sleep which follows on from an earlier work, Sleep, which I started while reading Matthew Walker's, Why We Sleep. The piece developed as I became more conscious of sleep and my own sleeping patterns. I realised that something we take for granted is not only essential but misunderstood. It's not one thing but many; it's active and continuous.

Plaster and wood
