I painted Sisters in Stride to celebrate community, shared strength, and the deep bonds between women. The painting features three figures seen from behind against a solid, vibrant blue background. Each woman balances a traditional vessel on her head as they move together, capturing a sense of grace, purpose, and rhythm in their daily routine.

I used a clean, high-contrast style to focus on the elegant lines of their silhouettes and the rich, warm skin tones that show their "inner glow". The solid blue space strips away distractions, focusing entirely on their shared journey. This work is about community and interdependence—showing how we carry our traditions and support one another as we move forward together.
