On the high bank, where the river makes a wide turn, stands a wooden tower, recreated in the style of ancient fortresses. It seems to evoke the spirit of the past, giving the entire landscape the mood of a quiet, epic antiquity.
I wanted to convey the contrast between the monumental, almost fairytale silhouette of the tower and the lightness of the river expanse, flooded with light and air. The green expanses, winding river, and distant horizon create a sense of calm grandeur in the Russian nature.
