In this work, there is a silence familiar to anyone who has a brother or sister. Two young people lie side by side, immersed in their own screens, as if separate worlds exist only inches apart. There is almost no interaction between them, yet within this quiet closeness emerges a deep sense of connection.

The painting explores a contemporary form of intimacy - existing together without words, finding comfort in another person’s presence, and sharing the intimacy of an ordinary moment. The room is minimal and calm, while the muted light and deep colors create an atmosphere of domestic isolation and safety at the same time.
