Artwork description
Shivering sands is the name of this group of seaforts on the north side of the Thames Estuary, one of three groups built to help protect London during the blitz. They are still visible from the coast.
One of an ongoing series of seascapes and sky images that have clouds as their main focus. Clouds are ethereal forms; in my prints they represent the world that lies beyond my own concerns.

paper, screenprint ink
