SHARED PATH (2025) Original Watercolour by Pavlov Serghei

“Shared Path” speaks about the destiny of a generation: people who live during the same period and are shaped by the same historical, social, and cultural context, yet experience life in profoundly different ways.
The forms, colors, and overlapping layers suggest distinct personalities, emotions, choices, and achievements. Some paths appear ordered, while others seem fragmented or unsettled, yet all of them move forward through the same passage of time. Like the generations of the 1970s or the 1990s, the symbolic figures within the work share the same era without sharing the same destiny.
The work therefore explores the invisible connection between the individual and the collective: we are different in what we feel and in what we become, yet we remain united by the time through which we travel together.
