Two colours meet and neither takes over. Pink holds its ground; orange holds its own. No blending, no compromise - just proximity, held. Between them, two black gestures move. One direct, one loose. Not quite figures, not quite abstraction, something closer to presence. They lean toward each other without touching, the way people do when they're still deciding.

Near the lower edge, a single fluorescent pink mark insists on being seen. Small. Deliberate. The ground has a say too.

This piece grew out of watching two things that shouldn't work together - do. Pink and orange, sky and earth, one force and another. Nothing here resolves. Nothing needs to. That’s the point. Equilibrium isn't a truce. It's two worlds agreeing, for now, to share the same square of canvas.
