This image started life as a "leaf" print made by pressing wet acrylic painted grasses onto paper in four separate impressions. To get that image to silkscreen I had to scan and edit it, but the reproduction is pretty faithful.
This artwork is hand printed from a silkscreen using a photo stencil onto archival printmaking paper, using water-based inks. The photo stencils are hand manipulated using a computer image editing program and printed on transparent media. Each separate color requires its own photo stencil. 4 colors. Maximum image size: 10" x 13.5" Overall paper size: 11" x 15"
This edition is limited to 30 copies, and each print is numbered, titled and signed by the artist. Each print is considered an original, and can vary slightly from the others.
My print(s) are carefully packaged between multiple sheets of cardboard, matboard and padding, insured to the value of the artwork, and shipped via USPS.
Francis Stanton retains all copyright to the artwork. The copyright does not transfer with the sale of this print.
