This piece grew out of a desire to explore the invisible, flowing threads of connection that bind generations together. I wanted to capture the shared consciousness and unspoken understanding that exists in relationships of profound care, pulling them out of the abstract and onto the canvas. I was inspired by the concept of shared thoughts and the fluid nature of protection and guidance. The vibrant, crown-like golden tresses represent a crown of shared dreams and dynamic energy, contrasted against the calm, structured geometry of origami birds which symbolize delicate, intentional wishes being released into the world. This artwork is incredibly personal because it balances quiet vulnerability with striking, fiery movement. The serene expressions of the figures stand at the center of a swirling vortex of color, perfectly capturing the beautiful contrast between inner peace and the chaotic energy of life.
