This series of ceramic sculptures arises from the experience of helplessness: from that moment when the human being, faced with death, destruction, and loss, realizes they can no longer intervene in what has already happened. The layered surfaces of the figures hold a sense of pressure, accumulation, and erosion; while the mouths open in a scream become a desire for liberation from the stillness of mourning.
