Scotland, to me, is more than rugged landscapes and cold winds. It is silence that speaks deeper than words.

In this painting, I wanted to capture the feeling of a journey — a winding river disappearing between the hills, soft light dissolved into the air, and the endless openness where one is left alone with nature and their own thoughts.

I approached the color intuitively: cool blue mountains meet warm ochre slopes, creating both tension and harmony within the landscape.

This piece is about freedom, solitude, and the quiet peace that can only be found far away from noise.
