“Scallop Shell” is a watercolor study of natural beauty, form and colour. Recently, I have become fascinated by studying seashells — their intricate shapes, textures and subtle natural colours. They are very different from the flowers I usually paint, which makes working with them a new and exciting challenge for me.

In this piece, I wanted to capture the character of the shell through its delicate ridges, warm colour transitions and the play of light across its surface. For me, it is a small exploration of how diverse and beautifully designed nature can be.

My work is a unique and original handmade piece.

It is painted on high-quality, 100% cotton paper specially made for watercolor by the world’s best manufacturers, with a density of 300 grams per square meter. I also use the finest professional paints in my work.
