SANGUINE (2016) Original Acrylic Painting by Rich Moyers

This is a rare large size artwork that I have worked on for more than a year. My desire with this work was to amplify the fluidity of the central image area multiplying the expansive depth of field within the burgundy red color mass, so that a viewers gaze may be rewarded by it's alluring magnetism for contemplative explorations. This depth was accomplished with countless hours of many carefully applied thin luminous layers of Acrylic and *Iridescent paints on Fine Linen Canvas over Deep Wooden Stretchers

*The White portion of the White & Yellow Horizontal Band on either side of the Burgundy Center Square is layered in Pearl Iridescent Acrylic paints.

The sides are painted as a continuation of the uninterrupted design with the colors as the Front of the Piece. There are no visible staples on any the sides
(staples are only on the Back of the canvas)

The artist's Full Signature + International Society of Acrylic Painters Signature Member designation initials & Completion Date appears on the Back in 2 separate places:

1) Lower Left Corner, In hand signed Graphite back of Canvas.

2) Center of Stapled Canvas Flap / Stretcher Bar

The piece is securely wired and ready for display - NO ADDITIONAL FRAME IS NECESSARY
