Salami Thief is a vibrant oil pastel painting celebrating the cozy charm of breakfast and everyday kitchen life. Viewed from above, the composition features a light blue tiled table filled with delicious food, colorful tableware, and a curious black cat with bright yellow eyes peeking from behind a wooden chair. A breakfast plate holds a fried egg, sliced tomato, sautéed mushrooms, and green peas, while another plate displays golden toast topped with salami. A green bowl of pink yogurt with blueberries and raspberries adds a playful touch, complemented by orange juice, a blue polka-dot coffee mug, a red moka pot, and a blue footed bowl of fresh oranges.

Bold, thick oil pastel strokes, heavy black outlines, and prominent white highlights bring energy and texture to this expressive contemporary still life. Saturated reds, blues, greens, and yellows create a cheerful palette, while a potted plant on the windowsill adds a homely atmosphere.

Perfect as colorful kitchen wall art for a dining room, breakfast nook, café, or modern interior, this whimsical food painting combines cat art, breakfast imagery, and contemporary folk-inspired style to celebrate the warmth and simple pleasures of everyday life.
