Original artwork description
Inspired by voyages around france and the UK, I enjoy trying to capture the vibrancy and colour of the reflecting water combined with the sails. I allow myself to use very heavy brushstrokes alongside a palette knife which also creates alot of texture. The piece should bring colour and movement to any space.
Materials used:
Acrylic paint on gessoed canvas. Stretched canvas on wooden frame. Satin varnish.
