Original artwork description:
Rosa Parks was an American activist in the civil rights movement best known for her pivotal role in the Montgomery bus boycott. The United States Congress has called her "the first lady of civil rights" and "the mother of the freedom movement".
For this portrait of Rosa, I had a copy of the 1964 Civil Rights Bill printed on architectural drafting mylar. I then painted the portrait with india ink and acrylics.
ROSA is a one-of-a-kind original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint. I only sell original work so there will only be one original and no authorized copies will ever be made. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This painting will be shipped "rolled in a tube". I include a hanging strip and instructions as to how to properly mount the painting.
