In this work, I was interested in the idea of light not as something fleeting, but as something that takes hold, anchored and sustained. The composition evolved around a central presence, allowing the surrounding tones to respond and expand from it. The warmth of the palette carries a sense of quiet energy, but one that is contained and grounded. For me, Rooted Light is about that balance, where something luminous grows without urgency, held in a space of calm and continuity.
