Work belonging to the II Period of Bruno Di Pietro – Milan
The II Period represents a fundamental phase in the artistic formation and evolution of Bruno Di Pietro, developed during the years of his activity in Milan. During this period, the artist focused his research on landscape and figurative painting, progressively developing a personal and recognizable technique characterized by continuous experimentation with matter, light, and composition.
While dedicating himself to the representation of reality and its subjects — including landscapes, human figures, and everyday environments — Di Pietro maintained a constant drive toward innovation, a desire for continuous evolution that would later lead to the creation of the III Period, dedicated to the reinterpretation of Homer’s Iliad.
This phase includes some of the artist’s most significant historical works, such as the celebrated cycles of shepherds, clowns, landscapes, and Venetian views. Another important moment in his artistic development was his journey to Paris, a fundamental experience that expanded his research through the study of printmaking techniques and, in particular, etching, contributing to the maturation of his artistic language.
The work is hand-signed by the artist on both the front and the back and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. It will be shipped directly with the original frame and with a protective wooden structure, as shown in the photograph, which may be kept or replaced with another frame according to the collector’s preference.
The work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions and has been published in art catalogues and specialized art magazines.
