In this painting I wanted to capture the quiet beauty of a peaceful riverside landscape. A small old house stands on the bank, surrounded by green fields and open sky, while the calm water reflects the soft movement of clouds.

Using a palette knife, I built the scene with expressive textures and dynamic strokes. The thick layers of oil paint create movement in the water and sky, giving the landscape a living, breathing quality.

For me, this work is about silence and simplicity — those quiet moments in nature when time seems to slow down. It reflects the calm atmosphere of the countryside, where the river flows gently and the world feels still and harmonious.
