Using the resource of an old botanical diary West intricately hand cuts and arranges this collage piece. West is influenced by the increasing industrialisation of the natural landscape with gene manipulation techniques.
Using old botanical and engineering images he create a combined organic and mechanised form to highlight the impact of mans increasing influence over the natural landscape.
