'For the homeland they watch' - France

Empty words from empty helmets. The police throughout the world have forgotten their promises and oaths and instead strive to protect commercial interests assets, becoming the iron fist in the silk glove of the elite.

Once protected acts, such as the freedom to protest have resulted in arrests and convictions. Holding a sign and throwing soup have become, in the eyes of the world's police, acts worthy of a good beating, if you're lucky. However if you've got enough cash to throw around, they'll leave you alone to indulge in whatever fetid activities you choose.

So here's a little piece of rebellion, a small middle-fingered gesture, for all those that sell out their neighbours and friends for a pat on the head from the greasy hand of greed and degeneracy.

This A4 artwork has been completed in acrylic, ink and pencil on 270gsm paper.
