◇ Délestage (2022) Original Oil Painting by Isabel Mahe

. . .

The cage of frills, broken
by a celestial spirit of salvation.

There comes a moment when we stop falling.
It is our burdens that fall in our place.

The fabrics slip away.
Appearances recede.

Cloud after cloud,
the sky clears,
leaving room
for freedom.
