Lakeside view of a small cave, somewhere in the far northern tundra. I've rendered that enchanting vista in charcoal, watermedia and drybrush oil paint and subsequently expanded the composition into semi abstract contemporary landscape that it is. I like to invite dialogue in my works between natural and abstract, between textures and tonal masses. Ever fascinating exploration that always brings out something new and unexpected.
Painting is on fine 300g Botan paper, mounted onto rigid panel. I will have it framed upon your purchase and send it ready to hang (allow about 7 days for my framer to have everything ready for dispatch)
