A quiet domestic scene of a sleeping dog stretched across a
deep red sofa. The dog’s long body and relaxed hanging legs create an
expressive, slightly humorous silhouette, while the oversized sofa fills
most of the composition. A pair of bright mustard-yellow slippers rests
on the green tiled floor in the foreground, adding a small everyday
detail and a strong color accent.

The painting is built from bold simplified shapes, strong contrasts and
an intentionally limited palette. Uneven black contours and visible
brush texture give the image a handmade, spontaneous character. The
unusual proportions and cropped composition make the scene feel like a
