this painting is from a collection called " Red Rooms". As I mentioned in other texts under previous works and explained the concept behind the red colour. I think it’s time to talk about the subject itself, which is rooms.
There are no human figures in these rooms, yet they are never entirely empty. A chair turned slightly away, a sofa waiting, frames resting on the walls each object carries the suggestion of someone who has been there. The absence of the body does not remove human presence; it makes its traces more visible. Someone may have just left, or perhaps has been gone for a very long time. The rooms remain suspended somewhere between presence and departure.
