£225

An impressionist landscape painting of a wild moorland waterfall, cascading down a bracken covered hillside, with the upper slopes covered in purple heather. In this atmospheric painting I have tried to convey the dramatic light illuminating the autumnal coloured heather as the soft misty clouds swirl around the summit of the mountains. Inspired by the wild upland moorlands of the Highlands of Scotland, Welsh mountains, the English Lake District and The Pennines and also the hills of Ireland.

The expressive brushwork and luminous palette evoke the ever-changing light of the British uplands—where moody skies, distant hills and open wilderness come together in a landscape that feels both powerful and serene.

Painted with a palette knife using quality artists paints on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white square profile wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
Please note the frame may differ slightly to the one shown due to availability.
