Hello,
I have produced the latest in my abstract expressionist series. I love to paint in this expressive way - it has a freedom that you don't get with other ways of painting.
The work consists of layers of blue paint painted over a series of days. Each layer was left to dry in between applications. This technique has the effect of deepening the complexity and depth of the colour zones.
The bright brilliant orange/red zone in the centre provides a complimentary contrast to the blue. The top layer is emerald green, painted in the same manner.
