This self portrait has special place in my heart because of the venue where I painted it. Sir J J College of Arts is one of the great art institutions in India. I always wanted to study there but never got a chance. One day they opened their premises for artists to paint and I grabbed this opportunity with both hands. The painting represents, I reaching out my unfulfilled dream to study art in this place.
