Re builded (2024) Original Stone Sculpture by Emanuela Camacci

The brick takes on a symbolic significance, the base and foundation of the house as a voice and represents rebirth.
The broken brick is reconstructed and now complete again has its history and
experience imprinted on its form.
The reconstructed and fragmented material creates a duality where the part that reassembles the brick is alive and vibrant. The fragments tell of the tragic nature of the earthquake, but at the same time recomposed they give shape to the life that regenerates and rebuilds.
