Raining Pearls (2013) Original Painting by Gray Jacobik

I've embedded pearls in the encaustic paint, to create this fanciful abstract that is primarily about the turquoise raining down into a white and violet field of shifting color, perhaps reminiscent of grasses or of waves, but unlike anything found on earth. Dark turquoise is the upper foundational color, aqua, pearlized white, lavender, and white occury the central areas, and powdered silver is concentrated in the lower half,, I've embedded pearls in the encaustic paint, thus the title.
