Welcome to my paintings and to my Art Store on Artfinder!
Being born in the North of Germany gave me a special love for the northern light, the sea in all its many shades and the beauty of landscapes and their connection to our souls as such and you can enjoy all that looking at my paintings and let them brighten up your home or office!
I spend a lot of time in nature, watching it and later in the study finding a way to express what I have seen and what it felt like. Often I do a lot of sketching and watch my surroundings very closely and work in certain projects and series. Almost all my works are done in mixed media techniques as these allow me to be completely free to express what I want in a painting and not restrict myself too much to a certain technique.
I will never paint from a photograph but from my inner way of experiencing the world while I live in it and feel it. I hope that you also like my inner landscapes, the beauty of the layering techniques of the old masters (Watercolors, Gouache, Egg Tempera, sometimes finished by some Oil/Acrylics) and the fragility of the watery colors I like to use. These paintings will connect you to nature and maybe some dreams or feelings that you have.
The paintings will come to you professionally packed in mostly reused materials (environment friendly) and usually with DHL express courier service, so they will be much faster through customs and you will see them soon after ordering. That makes the shipping prices a bit higher but I have learned that it is worth the investment. Of course I will refund any overpaid shipping costs above 10 Euro as the costs here are roughly calculated and cannot always be exact. If you buy several artworks, like 2 or 3 watercolors, I will try to charge only one shipping and refund any overpaid shipping. Also, if your country is not listed in my shipping prices just ask me and I will let you know a quote.
In some countries you may have to pay import taxes or duty fees when importing an artwork. Please check out these amounts before ordering with an online tax calculator as I cannot oversee or influence all of these fees.
If any other questions arise concerning the works, the shipping, the framing or about me, feel free to ask... we will work it out together. I can arrange any painting to be framed or recommend frames, just let me know if you want that.
