Rad Trains (2024) Original Gouache Painting by Aleksandra Mitkalova
21 x 29cm (unframed) / 21 x 29cm (actual image size)
£223.23
Original artwork description
A composition of two trains viewed from the rear, framed by the urban landscape beyond. The trains are simply painted, with strong blocks of colour and repeated geometric forms integrating them into the surrounding space. I was looking for a sense of stillness and balance, while contrasting the bold shapes of the trains with the softer, muted tones of the buildings.
Materials used:
gouache, colored pancils
Details:
- Gouache painting on Paper
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 21 x 29cm (unframed) / 21 x 29cm (actual image size)
- Signed on the back
- Style: Graphic, illustrative and typographic
- Subject: Architecture and cityscapes
