A building corner caught in an unexpected moment of elegance. Pipes in pink, yellow and copper run across a sky-blue wall scattered with small floral motifs. Elements that coexist without explaining each other, ordinary and quietly strange at once.
The work begins with street photography: the image is decomposed digitally, simplified to its essential lines, then reinterpreted on canvas using acrylic paint mixed with sand. The textured surface adds depth and materiality, making the painted light almost physical.
Tubi is part of an ongoing investigation into urban architecture. The details we pass daily without registering, and what happens when painting decides to stop and look.
