A visit to Putney, and the awakening of memories that span 45 years, and yet today it feels new, fresh and vibrant, the colours vivid and hot, bricks that soak up the heat, sky that is smouldering and light, tinged perhaps with grey. There is a softness, intensity, contrast. A great way to immortalise a corner of London.
This colourful, cheerful work is a wonderful addition to any collection. Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished
