This is the 5th painting in a series of abstract pieces on wood, exploring texture, color, and geometrical shapes. This piece is sublime in its messy, chaotic order of color, line, and texture. You can almost feel and taste the candy-like vibrant color! This piece is unique from the series in that the sides of the painting and colors fade into oblivion and the outlines of colors and shapes in black and white give it more depth of field and make the colors pop in a wonderfully 3-dimensional way. You feel like you could reach into the piece and touch each shape, hence the title "Push My Buttons". The texture and bold colors in this piece are happy and inviting.
