Artwork description:

PUPLUNA is a shot from my photo collection taken in Tuscany on the Etruscan coast.

The Etruscan Coast is a sweep of coastline characterized by lush nature and the strength of its colours, with beautiful beaches and the traces of a history that stretches back millennia. This was the Etruscans’ favourite coastal area, and the ancient civilization left behind endless traces of their time.

Populonia (Pupluna in Etruscan language) was the only Etruscan coastal city, nestled in the Baratti gulf, a very fascinating and mysterious place.

PUPLUNA photograph was taken in the south corner of the Baratti gulf, with long exposure technique, to capture the water that fades into a flow of tones that softens the sea and the clouds in a captivating dream flight.
