A pink sunset over the fjord (2021) Original Pastel Drawing by Liubov Samoilova

Here is ‘Pink Sunset over the Fjord’. An original landscape painted in dry pastel.
This is a little corner of beautiful Norway – the land of fjords, rocky shores and the marvellous northern light. The sky here is tinged with delicate shades of pink, lilac and pearly grey: the clouds seem to be illuminated from within by the last rays of the setting sun. And the water of the bay reflects all this splendour of colour.

On the shore are cosy little houses, boats moored at the jetty, and a green hillside dotted with trees. Everything exudes tranquillity and peace. It feels as though, in just a moment, you’ll hear the gentle lapping of the water and the cries of seagulls.

The artwork is painted in dry pastel on pastel paper and measures 20 × 30 cm. Thanks to its compact size, it will easily find a place in any interior: in a bedroom, living room or study. It is a ‘little window into a Nordic fairy tale’ that will bring you joy every day.
A wonderful gift for anyone who loves Scandinavia, the sea and sunsets. The artwork will add a warm touch to your home.
Design tip: If you feel the size is too small for your interior, frame the artwork in a wide mat – this will really bring out the best in it.
