Memories of my childhood. There were fields opposite my parents’ house, where in summer there were always lots of pink, white and red poppies in bloom. My brother and I used to have wonderful times playing there with the neighbour’s children in the tall grass and among the wheat crops. A whole hidden world all to ourselves. Whenever I see poppies, I feel a longing for that place in the here and now, where everything was possible and everything was simple.

The original painting is signed on the front and signed and dated on the back.
The sides are also painted. If you wish, it can be hung directly without a frame using the attached hook.
