Presence (2026) Photograph by Ugur kayan

70 x 50 x 0.1cm (unframed) / 70 x 50cm (actual image size)

£299.79

Presence explores the fragile boundary between the human body and the spaces it passes through. The figure is not shown directly, but appears only as a dark reflection on a weathered stone surface, becoming fragmented by the lines, texture and imperfections of the pavement.

The absence of the body creates a sense of ambiguity: the viewer encounters a trace rather than a person, a moment rather than a complete image. The work reflects on presence, absence and the way our physical existence can leave an imprint on places without truly belonging to them.

This photograph is part of my ongoing exploration of the body, space and perception, where ordinary environments become sites for quiet, unexpected encounters.
