In this etching we are shown a portal inside which a tree grows in the center of some stairs.
The geometry of the portal and the stairs contrasts directly with the sinuosity of the tree whose crown protrudes from the geometric, seeking a play of forces between the geometric and the natural, a direct reflection of society, nature always wins.
