£350

An original upcycled artwork composed of 42 hand-cut butterflies, each one carefully cut from a used aluminium drink can.

The butterflies are arranged in a precise rainbow gradient - from red to violet - creating a vibrant spectrum that celebrates colour, transformation and second chances. No paint is used; all colours, logos and texts you see are the original graphics from the cans themselves (Coca-Cola, Fanta, Lipton, Rubicon, San Pellegrino, Monster and many more), making each butterfly completely unique.

This piece is part of my ongoing exploration of sustainability and pop culture. What was once waste becomes delicate, joyful and eternal. The 3D folding of the wings creates beautiful shadows that change with the light throughout the day.

Hand-cut and hand-folded, mounted on archival white board, signed by hand. Framed in a white deep box frame, ready to hang.

Materials: Upcycled aluminium cans on paper
Technique: Collage / Sculpture / Pop Art
Unique, one-of-a-kind artwork. I never make two identical.

Materials used:

Paper, Aluminium Cans
