Bring warmth, charm, and timeless craftsmanship into your home with this original hand-pulled reduction linocut print of a cheerful piglet surrounded by delicate flowers. Printed entirely by hand in my countryside studio, this artwork combines playful character with the elegance of traditional printmaking. It is available in a very limited edition of only 9 prints.

Each print is built up from 14 carefully printed layers of Caligo Safe Wash oil-based ink, creating rich colours, beautiful depth, and subtle texture that can only be achieved through the reduction printing process.

Inspired by Nature and Art Nouveau
My studio is surrounded by the Dutch countryside, where I paint and print while listening to sheep grazing, horses neighing, and goats wandering nearby. Animals bring me joy, and I love capturing their personality and gentle spirit in my artwork. This curious little piglet, framed by flowers, celebrates the simple happiness that nature brings.

The design is inspired by the graceful forms and flowing lines of Art Nouveau, particularly the work of William Morris and Alphonse Mucha. Their influence gives this joyful subject an elegant and timeless appearance.

A Unique Handcrafted Artwork
Every print is created using the traditional reduction linocut technique, one of the most demanding forms of printmaking. After each colour is printed, more of the linoleum block is carved away before the next layer is added. Once a section has been removed, it cannot be replaced, making every stage permanent. The process requires careful planning, precision, and patience.

Because each print is inked and pulled by hand, no two impressions are exactly alike. Slight variations in colour, ink distribution, and texture make every print an individual work of art.
