Original artwork description
A composition of a domed building and a stone bridge, with three figures gathered along the walkway. The forms are simply painted, with strong outlines, muted tonal relationships and touches of brighter colour bringing the architecture and landscape together. I was looking for a sense of quiet conversation and everyday movement, with the figures giving scale and a human presence to the space.
