The painting evokes a sense of inner insight—as if the gaze is directed not outwards, but through familiar reality. The soft golden-green background creates an atmosphere of light, stillness and an almost meditative state, whilst the recurring blue eyes become a symbol of multi-layered vision. The image appears both human and otherworldly, as if consciousness were expanding beyond the confines of physical form. The work is imbued with a sense of intuition, clarity and a subtle connection with the unseen realm.
This painting is done with acrylic and oil paints. The surface of this painting is very textured. I use texture paste and sand to create the texture. All this creates a feeling of vibration on the surface of the painting. The edges are painted and the painting does not need a frame.
