Story about painting:
"With this painting, I once again tried to open the topic of identity, relationships, the desire for new experiences and the inner turmoil that is within us through the pop art style.
The couple is preparing to travel, but they have a different relationship to it. They are also two completely different identities.
While the extravagant and extroverted woman is restless, yearning for change and new stimuli, the man in a classic, slightly oversized brown suit appears formal to conservative and wants to stay still in place, thus creating a direct contrast to the dynamic and restless partner.
Both stand in unnaturally static, almost frozen poses. This lack of relaxed movement reflects their inner uncertainty and paralysis at a given moment. Their gazes are also directed elsewhere and there is no communication between them.
The painting is a reference to the differences between the partners, which reflect mutual alienation on the canvas. But it is also a warning and a challenge for people to realize this in time and try to resolve it before the relationship between them reaches the stage it is in the painting."
