This lithographic plate was inspired by the pebbles we found on the beach on the Lake District side of the Solway Firth. This is the polyester litho plate from which a very limited edition of twelve prints was produced, and no more are being printed from this plate. It was printed with a mix of Black, Green and Bronze Dark Blue oil-based relief ink.

Once a print run is finished the plate itself is a reversed image of the prints. It often has marks and textures resulting from the printmaking process, which I particularly like as it adds the depth of the image. Polyester litho is a thin paper-like plate with a coating one side that resembles a stone surface and can be printed from using relief ink.

This original plate comes backed onto board and presented in a window mount ready to frame.

All artworks posted within the UK are sent by Royal Mail Tracked and Signed which (usually!) arrives the next day after dispatch before 1pm.
Artworks sent to Europe and beyond are sent by Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed, and usually arrive within a week of dispatch.
Where possible I will try and pack artworks together and refund postage if overcharged.
