“Past” explores the emotional weight of memories — the ones we carry quietly inside ourselves.

Sometimes the past becomes a beautiful part of us.
And sometimes it gently pulls us backwards, even when we are trying to move forward.

While creating this painting, I was thinking about emotions that remain somewhere deep beneath the surface: nostalgia, attachment, fragments of places, feelings, conversations and moments that still live inside us.

Through layered colors, spontaneous gestures and soft contrasts, I wanted to create a feeling that is both emotional and alive — like memories that never fully disappear.

For me, this work is about learning to live between the past and the present while still allowing yourself to grow.
