Particule XXIV continues an ongoing exploration of matter as a state of movement, transformation, and becoming. The painting approaches the particle not as a scientific object, but as a metaphor for the smallest element capable of carrying energy, memory, and potential.
The forms appear to exist between emergence and dissolution, suggesting a field in which matter is continuously gathering, separating, colliding, and reorganising. Nothing remains completely fixed. Each particle becomes both an independent presence and a fragment of a larger, invisible structure.
The work proposes a space situated somewhere between the microscopic and the cosmic. What appears at first as an arrangement of colour and form can be perceived as a fragment of an unknown universe — a constellation of forces whose relationships are sensed rather than fully understood.
In Particule XXIV, colour functions not simply as a means of representation, but as a form of energy. Layers, traces, interruptions, and accumulations create a visual rhythm that suggests movement beyond the static surface of the canvas. The painting records not an isolated moment, but a state of continuous transformation.
The series Particule is also a reflection on the relationship between the individual and the whole. Just as a particle exists simultaneously as an autonomous entity and as part of a larger system, each human experience is a fragment of a much wider field of existence.
Particule XXIV therefore becomes an image of potential — of something constantly emerging, changing, and becoming something else. The visible forms are only traces of a process that continues beyond the boundaries of the painting.
