Dear viewer, come with me on a visual journey through my series of paintings: “Reflections on Sustainability” which captures the essence of my temporary stay in Spain. As an artist troubled by the turmoil of war, I temporarily moved to Spain and found solace and inspiration among the enchanting landscapes of the port of Valencia.
I walked around the port looking for a beautiful landscape and a cozy place to paint. I managed to find a wooden pier rocking from the waves and a row of large ships that were lined up in one line in front of me as if waiting for an order, as if I was their leader. I began to compose this landscape on canvas and suddenly a curious dove appeared in front of me. He not only took my attention away from the ships, he did everything to be painted on canvas. He posed for me. And ofcourse I painted him.
